What's best to wear for a family session?
I always recommend outfits that are timeless. Neutrals look great and limited patterns are ideal. That being said, wear something that you feel comfortable in and confident. You should feel like you on your best day!
What kind of newborn sessions do you do?
I specialize in newborn lifestyle and fresh 48 photography. Each session type is very different but both capture those most precious memories in a parent's life. Some chose to pick one, while others might lean towards the lullaby package, which includes both a Fresh 48 and Lifestyle Newborn session, as well as a maternity mini session at a discounted rate.
When is the best time of day for a session?
For best lighting, my sessions happen within the first two hours of sunrise and the two hours prior to sunset. The "Golden Hour" is most ideal, which is about one hour before sunset. When doing an in-home session, anytime with daylight should be fine.
How many pictures will we receive?
For a full session, you will receive an unlimited gallery, which averages about 35 images (give or take based on session specific circumstances). For a mini session, 10 images are included in the package. These images are selected by the client from an online viewing gallery. See above for the Lullaby Package specifics. In regards to birth photography, many factors go into determining the number of images received. Please contact me for further information with further questions.
When can I expect to receive my final images?
A sneak peek will be provided of 3-5 images within 48 hours. For a petite session, your 'soft-proof' gallery will be available for viewing and making selections within 2 weeks. After selection, final images will be sent within 48 hours unless extenuating circumstances. A platinum session will receive all final edited images within 2 weeks, unless communicated. Birth Sessions are larger galleries and typically are received within 6 weeks.
How will I receive my final images?
Images will be sent via an online gallery and will be available for downloading directly from the link provided. No physical prints are provided unless discussed prior to your session.
What can I add "ala carte"?
If you love your images and just can't narrow down your image selection on a petite session, you are welcome to purchase images "Ala Carte" for $10 each additional image or $75 for the remaining gallery images. Another "Ala Carte" purchase you might want to add would be if you were to book "The Whole Crew Package" and want to add a small, immediate family session (much like a petite session but discounted since it is an add-on to another session).
